Putting link in text field and disabling join up date from displaying!

Hi....got a couple of queries here!

One of the fields I've created is for a short profile intro containing a link to a Joomla article. But it just won't accept the HTML link code.....can you advise?

Also, when you view the list of users the joining date is displayed......how can I disable this?

Thanks for using JoomProfile.

#1 : Currently there is not field which support html entities. We need to work on editor type field to support html, it may take some time. I hope you are not in too hurry.

#2 : You need to copy the file from Joomla => components => com_joomprofile => extensions => profile => templates => site.profile.search.result.php to Joomla => templates => yourTemplate => html => com_joomprofile => site.profile.search.result.php
and remove that code of joining date from this new file

Thanks for the reply......with the first point we are in a hurry. We can't use the program without that.
