Bulk-uploading data via mySQL - question about field md5 in joomprofile_adddress table

I am bulk-uploading profile data. I've done some manual uploading to test. In the address table, the md5 field contains system-generated values, but I'm not sure what it is. Is it essential to joomprofile functioning?

In address table, md5 is md5 for address. It is used like, when you save the address again and again, no need to fetch the latitude and longitude form google api until there is some change in address. You can leave it empty. It will not break anything.
