In the extensions setting (Logout Redirection Page) I have it set to go to a login page (accessible by the public)
The issue appears when I login...when I click on the logout link it does not take me to the login page like it is supposed to, instead it leads to "myurl.com/index.php" and shows "403 You are not authorised to view this resource". However if I click on the "My account" link first (which leads to a user profile edit page) and then click on my logout link then it redirects to the login page correctly.
Any ideas on this?
After getting a fresh start this morning I can add to this.
If I have a menu item set to "Guest" which points to an article with "Guest" only access and use that as my default home page then the following happens:
1.) Visit the website and the guest only article pops up as it should.
2.) Click on Login and login to the website. I am redirected to the article I have set in the Joomla login module.
3.) Click the logout button to logout and I get the 403 error (unless I visit the profile edit page first)
Set the "Guest" article and menu item to "Public" and the Logout button works as it should but then the menu item (which is supposed to be visible to guests only) is then viewable by registered users as well.
