How to make a logout button on the menu

6 years 11 months ago #1 by Francois Harris
I have installed your plugin on Joomla 3.

I would like to make a menu button that will log the user out when pressed.

I have made a button that goes to external link "#", and in the 'Link Type' page I have put "90-logout-button" in the CSS field, but the button does not log the user out at all.

Please help.

Thanks

Is it typo for "90-logout-button"? You need to use "f90-logout-button".

If it is typo then please let us know your website url, so that we can check it. If you can't give the url publicly then you can email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Hello Francois,

We have checked the issue at your website. You have placed logout button in Top menu as well as in Sidebar Menu. Sidebar menu is working but Top Menu is not working because your template is not applying css class " f90-logout-button" in the Top menu link.

You should contact to your template provider or menu module provider (if you are using any third party module for this) to fix this issue.

Thank you
