Can't find reset button after install and activate in Joomla 3.3.6

Hi;

I just installed the Reset Hits plugin. It said install was successful. Activated it in plugin manager, but when I went to an article the button can't be found on the article, either a published or unpublished article.

I have Joomla version 3.3.6 and tried it in both Firefox and Google Chrome.

I really love the idea of the plugin as it's exactly what I need...

How can I make it work?

Thanks,
Marie

OK, here we are one day later. Went back to Joomla and when I logged in today, the reset button was there. I also installed it on another Joomla website, and on that site (same Joomla version) the Reset button showed up immediately. AND IT WORKS FINE! However, you don't see the Hit counter drop to zero until you Save. When you hit the button, it doesn't seem to have done anything. But as soon as you save, the hits drop to zero on the article you were editing. BRAVO! Works great and is exactly what I needed. THANK YOU!

Hello Marie,

Sorry for delay in reply.
It could be due to Joomla caching. If caching is on, and you install new plugin, then it doesn't work until cache is cleaned.

When you click on button, it sends ajax request and reset article hits to zero, but it does not make changes in display, so you need to refresh the page to know the changes.

It will be great if you can share you views on JED

Thank you
